The System is rotten and corrupts those who are running scared!
From Congressman Ron Paul
The Washington political scandals dominating the news in recent weeks may be disheartening but they cannot be considered surprising. We live in a time when the U.S. government is the most powerful state in the history of the world.

Today’s federal government consists of 15 huge departments, hundreds of agencies, thousands of programs and millions of employees. It spends $2.4 million in a single year. The possibilities for corruption in such an immense and unaccountable institution are endless.
Americans understandably expect ethical conduct from their elected officials in Washington. But the whole system is out of control that it’s simply unrealistic to place faith in each and every government official in a position to sell influence. The larger the federal government becomes, the more it controls who wins and who loses in our society.
The temptation for lobbyists to buy votes - and the temptation for politicians to sell them - is enormous. Indicting one crop of politicians and brining in another is only a temporary solution. The only effective way to address corruption is to change the system itself, by radically downsizing the power of the federal government in the first place. Take away the politicians power and you take away the very currency of corruption.
Undoubtedly the recent revelations will ignite new calls for campaign finance reform. However we must recognize that campaign finance laws place restriction only on individuals, not politicians. Politicians will continue to tax and spend, meaning they will continue to punish some productive Americans while rewarding others with federal largesse. The same vested special interests will not go away, and the same influence peddling will happen every day on Capitol Hill.
The reason is very simple, when the federal government redistributes trillions of dollars from some Americans to others, countless special interests inevitably will fight for the money. The rise in corruption in Washington simply mirrors the rise in federal spending.
The fundamental problem is not with campaigns or politicians primarily, but rather with popular support for the steady shift from a relatively limited, constitutional federal government to the huge leviathan of today.
We need to get money out of government. Only then will money not be important in politics. It’s time to reconsider exactly what we want the federal government to be in our society. So long as it remains the largest and most powerful institution in the nation, it will remain endlessly susceptible to corruption.

Now go back and have a second look at the last paragraph. I quote the line, “We need to get money out of government.” I quote from the Constitution, it states, “The Congress shall have the power to coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures.” (Not the private international bankers as we have had since 1913, with a system which is based on LIES and deceit.) Therefore, return to the Constitution, eliminate the Federal Reserve (FED), eliminate all interest charges and the American people will control the money supply. Taxes will cover what is needed to maintain our country. Also by law enforcement and the military.
The Constitution states, and I quote, “No Capitation, or other direct tax shall be laid, unless in proportion to the census or Enumeration hereinbefore to be taken.
The American people shall state publicly, “There will be no direct taxes on incomes of Americans earning less than the President, those earning more than the President will be taxed directly at 50% of their income and that money will be placed into the U. S. Treasury for the needs of the American people.” In addition, from the Constitution, profit on the coin money and regulate the value thereof will also be directed into the U. S. Treasury for the needs of the American people. The National Debt will be abolished, as it is a computer entry of money stolen from the American people.
Are you ready now to stop the programs of the FED? Evil will prevail when good men do nothing. This evil system, known as the FED has been based on lies from its inception.

Information that can save you money.
The Washington Post, H1, 12/6/1998- Telecom Giants buy Congress
The nation's local, long-distance and wireless-phone companies have spent $166 Billion on legislative and regulatory lobbying, since 1996 --more than tobacco, aerospace, and gambling lobbies combined. AT&T ranked second in lobbying spending. But within the [1995-1997] period, AT&T's spending declined from $4.3 million in early 1996 to $3.7 million at the end of 1997.
WHO SAYS CONGRESS IS CORRUPT?
The "cost of providing of information" to Congress, a PC term for bribing legislators, is more than the government spends on educating high school pupils.
When will you wake up Mr & Mrs America?
The Congress is taking bribes !!
It should be illegal for Congress to take any "campaign funds" from Lobbyists or from anyone who owns a Lobbyist.
To be constitutional, limits cannot be put on campaign giving. It must be, as in the Hooker Business, they are prosecutied for TAKING MONEY!!!
Congress is a bunch of HOOKERS. Let's make it illegal to take the money, just as it is for all hookers.
ANY CONGESSMAN WHO TALKS ABOUT "CAMPAIGN SPENDING LIMITS" IS A LIAR.
They know the "john" can't be busted for spending money. The illegality is "TAKING THE MONEY". JUST FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!!
