The Structure is a Republic, BUT....
Corporate Power makes it Socialism--as far as the Big Boys are concerned.

The Banksters and Big Corporations don't take any Risks

Anyone who has been conscious, during the last thirty years, can recognize that the Banks and large Corporations get Government Guarantees against risk.

The cry for help, when their foolish loans and boondoggles get them into trouble...they cry, "We are too big to fail"......"For the good of the country...guarantee our failures against risk"..."we employee thousands and they will lose their jobs"

Why not make these companys a true government agency, owned by the taxpayer? The taxpayer ends up paying for their mistakes, in every case, anyway.

Why should their stockholders profit at the expense of the Taxpayers?

They have no honor.

They don't even pay back the Taxpayer.

Look at the airlines' bailout, after THE ATTACK. They were losing money, before THE ATTACK.

They laid off 100,000 employees, without any thought to the effect on THE ECONOMY, which depends on Consumers' spending.

If we are going to give them Taxpayers' money, they should be held accountable to the Taxpayers, who are unsecured Lenders of Last Resort.

The effects of the International Corporations can be readily seen in countries manipulated by the IMF and WORLD BANK.
The people in those countries are exploited by "contractors" who are their countrymen. These "contractors" are the frontmen for the CORPORATIONS which suck money out of the labor of the employees of the "contractors".

The Corporations tout the system by saying, "We're providing jobs to these third world country-folk."

Just look at Mexico, they have moved the country-folk off their farms by depressing corn prices with U.S agri-corp corn. These uneducated people move to the barrios, near the cities, to work in the maquilladores. When they demand a human-rights-level wage, the WTO corporations move the work to lower wage areas of the world.

The corporations are sucking the blood of these victims of ECONOMIC COLONIALISM.
