Just as the country was developed by the monopoly that the railroad builders were granted in the 1800's, the cable internet companies must not be forced to allow competitors' traffic to clog the "Electronic Railroad." |
The logic is the same, as cable can be clogged by traffic from non-owners. Let them find other routes for fast Internet Access, just like the railroads' competitors found truck terminals and airline freighters. | There is no justice, and no logic, if a proprietor of an electronic traffic carrier like cable, which is exactly like an Electronic Railroad, must open his routes to free loaders.
|
Did the cable companies, when they got their franchises from the counties and cities, agree to allow other competitor companies to use their cables?
Are these civic entities able to dictate what traffic that cable companies must carry?
Won't the rural communities that are not wired for cable be forever deprived of service, if cabling costs are not made more economical, by selling internet and phone services, along with TV?
